Inktober ‘24
This year, I dove into the Inktober craze with an even crazier twist: designing a new game concept every day!
Here are the rules I set for myself:
Each concept is based on the daily prompt (like a Game Jam), and it has to be original. A "mystery game about a solar system stuck in a time loop" for Sun? That’s cheating!
Only ink and paper! I initially started to work with Photoshop and Google Slides but realized that wouldn’t capture the Inktober spirit.
I've created one concept per day, with a couple of combined prompts when I was away, and I had to skip the last two weekends. Each concept includes a screenshot or two, a main description, and some unique selling points. Most of these took me about 1-2 hours, although some are intentionally left vague because I might develop them further!
P.S. Think about collaborating with me instead of just "borrowing" the ideas... or at least invite me to the launch party!
